Over 600 children and young people enter foster care in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire each year. We aim to provide a practical bag of comfort items to each child in this horrible situation, to try and make this anxious time a little bit easier.
We are aware that all children are different, and we try to create bags that any child would be happy to receive. All items are new and ideally branded. Each bag contains a variety of things, however ALL bags will include a teddy bear, a blanket, a book and an additional bag for the child or young person to carry any items they may be able to bring from home into foster care with them.
